    1. I was a Drill Sgt In A/2/2 from Apr 66- June 1968. My Name is Rosendo Rosalez, Jr and I had the 4th Plt in A/2/2 all the time I was there. I was also Field First for most of time. I worn dark glass due to an eye condition I had.

      Wow. I also was inducted into the army in February 1967 with basic at Fort Polk. I recall the unit identification as B-C-3. I remember my drill instructors names. Drill Instructors Roberts & Land.

  5. Yeh,I got sent to Polk for Basic & AIT for Supply Sgt. (76A10) while in the Army Reserve in the winter of ’69-’70. Made good friends & have been in contact with one from Mississippi!

    Capt. Edward Segerson, stationed at Camp Polk as it was called at that time, I think. If anyone had a parent in the medical corps around that time, I would like to hear from you.

    1. I was in Company C, Special Troops at Ft Polk in 1967-68.
      Shoulder patch was 4th Army (red patch wit white clover). I’m sure it was same in 65.
