Another of so many fond memories at Hodges Gardens...

Another of so many fond memories at Hodges Gardens… don’t worry… no fish or humans were harmed … here is how the moment unfolded… the kids were kayaking or canoeing (just one of many great activities at Hodges) and my son saw a slow moving grass carp … on the spur of the moment, he hopped out of the canoe and yanked up the carp… he was pretty shocked… my daughter, Savanah, was more shocked… as evidenced by the look on her face… at the time, I had my iPhone (which was an iphone3 with a half decent camera but a camera nonetheless) which enabled me to capture this moment. After the photo was taken, James released the carp and it swam off slowly. We figured the carp might have been sick which is why he was able to be caught but he did swim off so not so sure.
