Natchitoches, Louisiana!

Natchitoches, Louisiana! Well… This one is a bit bittersweet. This footage was taken last night along the Cane River… We hadn’t made it up to the Front Street area… And this footage is rather low quality because it was taken from the drone feed to the ipad… The actual footage is one a storage card somewhere at the bottom of the Cane River… With the drone… My daughter was flying the drone at the time… She is an excellent drone pilot and rarely encounters any troubles… But our main drone had been sent for repair because it was having a connection issue and so we were using a backup drone … The river was completely still and so it was a bit difficult to see how close she was to the water, until the drone hit the water… And then it was too late… I think we may set up a GoFundMe or something for a replacement drone so we can keep filming the lights… Ugh… I hate unplanned expenses!
