Photo taken last fall while the new U. S. Hwy. 84 bridge over the Sabine River between Joaquin, Texas (Shelby County) and Logansport, Louisiana (DeSoto Parish) was under construction (at left). The new bridge is now complete and in use. The old bridge, on the right, was still in use at the time. That bridge has since been almost entirely removed.
