Update: Facebook compresses the footage uploaded directly so I’m putting the full quality version on You Tube and will post a link in a bit. This is Raw unedited footage of the Zwolle Loggers and Forestry Festival Parade in Zwolle, Louisiana. Please note that we’ve filmed a lot of stuff in the almost two years we’ve been filming with drones, but never yet filmed a parade. So if it looks amateur, it is! There are power lines and cables and all sorts of aerial obstacles that made us a bit nervous about getting as low as we wanted to… But I feel like we came away with a bit of experience on “aerial parade coverage” so next time won’t be so amateur! We learned a few things we can do differently, including getting sound from the ground and merging the track with the video footage. Ideas and suggestions are also welcome.
