This is as bad as I’ve seen flooding in the vicinity of the Toledo Bend Dam and power generation plant… And I’ve seen a few floods since my newspaper days in the early 1990s. This footage was taken on the Texas side of Toledo Bend, from the area of the look out point which is at the offices of the Sabine River Authority of Texas. River Road, which leads to a lot of homes and camps, is completely flooded… So are other roads… Looks really awful.
