In Sabine Parish, Shared by Chris Welch: “Anthony homeplace in Toro, Louisiana on Toledo Bend. The house is still there and my grandmas Cousin lives there now. At times you can still see the old cistern in the lake. When they built Toledo, they had to move the house and the barn on higher ground. The last of the Anthonys who were born in the house died last April, Theodore Wayne Anthony (Sr.). My Great Grandpa Curtis Raymond (Known as C.R. by everyone) Anthony died in 2005, his sister Irene who lived in San Antonio died in ‘09 I think. The house still has the old appliances, phones, furnishings, and other things I think.”
