October 2, 1939. Farm-to-market road bridge under construction by WPA on the Singer-Longville Road in Beauregard Parish. Written on Photos: “Piling has been driven for the bridge which will consist of 16 spans, each 19 ft. in length. The new span, 304 ft. long, should be completed this Fall and will cost $30,998. The Singer-Longville bridge over the Singer farm-to-market road. WPA has constructed a network of such highways in Louisiana.
