October 2, 1939. Farm-To-Market road bridge under construction by WPA on the Singer-Longville road in Beauregard Parish. Piling was driven for the bridge which was to consist of 16 spans, each 19 feet in length. The new span, 304 feet long, cost approximately $30,998.
