By request, here are some more photos of the inside of the home of Mr. And Mrs. A. J. Hodges on the island at Hodges Gardens State Park. The Hodges founded Hodges Gardens Botanical Park in the 1950s and the huge house was incredible… Accessed from the Gardens by a ferry. The house has been vacant for at least 25 years. I took these photos many years ago, prior to the donation of the park area by the Hodges’ family to the State of Louisiana.
