Downtown Minden, LA. Taken a few years ago. Quite the fun shot— in 34 degree temperature, a combination of… oh, I’d say no less than 20 shots, ranging from 1/60 second to 3 minutes… fighting cold and big time traffic in what I thought was a sleepy city! Also, facing the fact that when cars go by, there is some slight shifting in the brick streets so had to kind of cushion the tripod. The passing vehicles made the streaks of light you see, including one 18-wheeler. Caught an airplane in flight and segregated that shot to get the action of that. There are actually two jets, one I didn’t segregate out. Caught some star trails, and I segregated out the shot with the moon and the planet… I think the planet is Jupiter but not certain. Jupiter, Neptune and Uranus had been in line the last few days, and I did see (I think) Neptune and Uranus but they were out of my shot unfortunately.
