This is a great place to visit and take a step back in town... it is owned and operated by U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service. Everyone who lived and worked on the plantation, including the slaves, purchased just about everything from this store. Now the shelves sit empty, but you can almost feel the step back in time.
