Photo taken today and photo taken in 1941 on La. Hwy. 118 (Mount Carmel Highway, and more recently designated Louisiana Maneuvers Highway)… Stacked new photo on old photo and brought out some of each photo. Both photos were taken in the exact same spot (Sabine Parish … Goodson Creek is below, location is just east of Mount Carmel and a little west of Peason). The 1941 photo was taken during the World War II Louisiana Maneuvers… showing the Blue Army infantry units coming from Peason. This photo is from the Rickey Robertson collection.
