Probably taken in the 1930s, the above photograph is of Adam Key’s Service Station in downtown Many. Adam Key is shown in the picture at left. The station was located where Alford’s Used Cars is now. Photo was shared by Mary Beth Key Brocato, for a Louisiana Endowment of the Humanities’ project. Closeups of the photo follow, showing a Standard Oil Company truck, Essolene fuel pumps, Atlas Tires which were sold and installed at the station, an old house which has been torn down (not sure whose home it was) and a really neato car.
