An awesome share from Terry W. Foster, originally of Florien: “This picture is of Roy Slater from Florien, La. He had a Texaco station on Hwy 171, across from the now Dollar General. The building is still there but in poor condition. The house next to it with the huge round window was his house. As a child I lived across the road there where the fire station now is.
I do not know the date of this picture but it was for 25 years of his being a Texaco station. ” The back side of the picture is in the second image posted here.
