Sabinetown, Texas in 1895. (Located just west of current day Pendleton Bridge. The steamboat Maude Howell made regular trips up the Sabine River as far north as Logansport. Sabinetown was considered a major portfolio steamboat traffic along the Sabine. Miscellaneous freight came up river, mainly cotton and lumber.
