Written on photo: Two fishermen glide through Toledo Bend Reservoir in Western Louisiana. The reservoir is the nation’s fifth largest man made body of water, encompassing 186,000 acres, first conceived as a mode of generating electricity. Jointly controlled by Louisiana and Texas, this reservoir’s dam site is located near Hornbeck, La. More than 1,300 acres in public parks lie on its banks.
