Tonight’s moon. Called a “Blue Moon” because it is the second full moon in one month’s time… an event that occurs on average every 2.7 years. I was hoping for a moon with a blue tint, because of the name, but kind of guessed I wouldn’t get so lucky. It was actually a bit on the yellow side, because it rose a little more than thirty minutes after the sun set.
